NCVER

RPLRecognition of Prior Learning

Assessment of a learner’s existing skills and knowledge against the requirements of a unit or qualification.

RTORegistered Training Organisation

An organisation registered to deliver nationally recognised training and issue qualifications.

A specialist whose industry expertise informs the development and validation of training resources.

TASTraining and Assessment Strategy

The framework that documents how a qualification will be delivered and assessed for a cohort.

The national register of VET, listing training packages, qualifications, units and RTOs.

UoCUnit of Competency

The smallest nationally recognised component of a qualification, specifying skills and knowledge.
